Binscombe Medical Centre Library

 

In July 2015 we started a library of health-related books in the waiting room. Please take a look when you are next in the surgery and have a browse through the books we have chosen. All the books are free to borrow for any of our patients.

 

The books have been carefully chosen by the doctors as ones which we have recommended to patients in the past and found to be helpful. Most of the books were generously donated by the Binscombe Medical Trust, with some being given by the doctors and one was kindly donated by the manager of the Godalming branch of Waterstones bookshop. The library also includes a full set of the titles in the National Books on Prescription scheme.

 

If you are registered at the practice and would like to borrow one of the books then please fill in one of the borrowing slips on the bookshelf and hand it in at reception with your contact details. Please return the book within a month, or let us know if you would like to borrow it for longer. There is no cost to the library, and certainly no fines for late returns, but we would like to ensure that they remain available for future patients.
